Erdem Yurtseven had worked on s/s Cortland from July 1967 to May 1968. He had embarked her in Houston and left her laid up in Saigon. When he went back to Vietnam two years later with s/s Aloha State he had seen s/s Cortland abandoned there. The above pictures were taken on that second trip in 1970.
