............................................................... She was built in 1929, by DESCHIMAG A.G. Vulkan, Hamburg (213) as ISAR for Norddeutscher Lloyd, was given as war prize to Ministry of Transport, London in 1947 and named STANROYAL by Stanhope S.S. Co. (J.A.Billmeir) in 1948. She was purchased by the Turkish owner Hasim Mardin and named HARAN in 1952. Because of the financial problems of the owner she was seized by Turkish Commerce Bank in 1958. She was purchased by the new owners Ipar Transport and was named NECIP IPAR in 1959. She was seized again under the new owners, and together with other three ships of the company was laid up in Halic ( Golden Horn ) by the early 1960s. After a long waiting period dismantling work had started in 1965.
