FROM BANGLADESH

The above picture of the same vessel was taken by Mr. Fanpolo from Singapore. He wrote :
"... I have a picture taken in 1979, which is identical to your picture of Bangladesh liner at Chittagong 1973, same boat, same scene, but in 1979, very interesting to see these 2 picture together... I taken this picture when I was the Chief Officer onboard M.V. Tasgold (ex-M.V. City of Canberra) at Chittagong in sept 1979."
I thank Mr. Fanpolo very much for sharing his picture on this page. This has also given us the chance of identifying the later name of this vessel as " MONRUL HOQUE 1-007 ". Yet some more search is needed to reach her records.
