	M/V GOLDEN BRIDGE ex- M/V WELSH TRADER, Anchored off Besiktas at Istanbul, summer 1975. This unknown has been solved thanks to Mr. Peter Hogg from England. Following his findings the ship in picture was easily determined as the sister ship " Welsh Trader". The fact that these ships were not the regular callers of Istanbul and had been seen only once, had increased my curiosity over the years. So, I thank Mr. Hogg again for sharing his excellent research with us. " ... I may have an identity for the unidentified ex British freighter Istanbul 1976. I saw this ship as a kid in Sunderland. I did not have absolute proof but was browsing shipnostalgia and saw enough to convince me. I think she is the following ship: 1957 Sussex Trader- 8448 GRT. Launched 30.1.1957 Pickersgill Sunderland.
