Sister ship M/V Bursa getting built on the slipway at Golcuk Navy yard. This picture had appeared in Hurriyet newspaper in 1974. The same article gives the date the keel was laid as April 5,1974 and expected launch as July 24, 1974. These dates are way off from the 1981 we find in Equasis and Miramar SI. I recall the building had lagged because of financial problems but was it that long I am not sure !.
