M/V Kpt. B. Isim, anchored off Besiktas where the older generation ships used to. When this picture was taken in 1993, this anchorage had been started to be used seldomly because of the increased traffic.

Built in 1990 by Fosen, Bruces Verkstads in Norway.
Grt/Net : 18.653/11.978 tons
L/B/D : 158 / 24 / 5,9 m.
Engine: 2 diesel engines, made by Wartsila/Sulzer, total power of 10.766 hp. Speed : 17,7 knots, twin screws. 60 double cabins, 120 passengers. Capacity of 120 trailer trucks or 313 of 20 ft. containers.

History :

- She was initially named after Capt. B. Isim, the last master of M/V Amasya , who had lost his life when she was lost in Biscay, Feb. 1970.
- Sold to foreign flag and renamed "GRYF" in 2004. Sails under this name as of May, 2008.
